Scenes

A set of four scenes I compiled while living in Tucson. Only the fourth is any good. I am interested to see what you all might do with it.

Scenes

A soft breeze through yellow

leaves, the swirling helicopter

of one leaf escaped, twirling slowly

to the pebbled ground.

lifting a palate of boards by

forklift. The grind and hum of the

motor and the slow metallic clank

of treads pushing forward.

a white cocoon, earbuds and

mellifluous German conversation

bustle of a crowd and noise

that seems to come from everywhere

a rabbit darts across an empty

street and rustles bushes, twitches,

watches, waits, impossibly

unreadable.

See what I meant about only the last one being worth it? Anyway, that it's so short yet open and in present tense are all interesting to me.--RFRY, 09 Jun 06
